The Ottawa West-Nepean Electoral District Association (EDA) successfully held a sold-out fundraiser this week at Lorenzo's pizza on Carling Avenue.

Guest speakers included Michelle Ferreri, Member of Parliament for Peterborough-Kawartha, as well as the Conservative candidates for Nepean and Kanata.
Michelle offered some remarks to the sold-out crowd on homelessness, the affordability crisis, freedom of speech and other topics. Ryan had a chance to ask Michelle about her work, particularly her advocacy for the homeless and foodbanks which have seen a worrying increase in usage across Canada.
During the event, Ryan took the opportunity to chat with attendees about his campaign for the Conservative nomination in Ottawa West-Nepean - including a few regular patrons visiting the bar!
