Residents today did not feel that the Liberal fall Economic Statement released this past week was going to improve the the cost of living. In fact, the increased spending and deficit worried many. Ryan spoke with a handful of older Canadians today that were concerned that the increased cost of living was going to make it more difficult to stay in their homes. In particular, a few seniors were concerned that they would no longer be able to afford needed services like transportation to appointments or snow removal this winter due to the increased cost of living. Everyone was eager to see a new Conservative government as soon as possible to get inflation and the cost of living under control.
