Ryan attended the 'Common Sense' Convention in Quebec City this week as a delegate of Ottawa West-Nepean.
As a member of the local policy committee, Ryan was able to voice his support during plenary debate for three National Defence-related motions co-sponsored by Ottawa West-Nepean. All three policies passed with support from Conservative Shadow Ministers James Bezan, Michael Chong and Bob Zimmer.
Ryan also had a chance to catch up with Michelle Ferreri, Shadow Minister for Families, Children and Social Development, who represents Ryan's hometown of Peterborough, Ontario.
